No, this course is designed for beginners and experienced musicians alike. We start from the very basics and gradually move to more complex topics. All you need is a passion for music and the willingness to learn.

The core video course, 'Carnatic Music Essentials' is 3 hrs long, plus we have 5 hrs extra bonus video lessons. We have weekly online workshops / group sessions with fresh topics and speakers each week, ready to answer your questions and give you personalised feedback.

We recommend going through all this content at your own pace so you have the opportunity to practice and really digest everything you're learning.

The short answer is yes.

The long answer: the singing components of our content are completely doable for kids from the age of about 8 upwards, however some of the theory and higher concepts we teach are quite complicated for kids under the age of 12.

If your child is already musically capable, age shouldn't be a problem. If this is the first musical experience for your child (age <12), we highly recommend connecting with an in-person tutor to help them through our course content.
